About Distillery
Veljko i sinovi is a family distillery that started production in 1994. The production is located on a family estate in Velereč, at an altitude of about 500 m. Theres a distillery, cellar and orchard on 6 ha, planted exclusively with Čačkanska rodna plums, from which GORDA slivovitz is made.
Top quality Gorda brandy is the result of constant control of raw materials, and all other processes during production (fermentation, distillation, and aging in oak barrels). The highest quality brandies are 5 to 15 years old.

Serving suggestion
Choose a tulip-shaped glass for serving, we recommend a temperature of 16-18 degrees and a short decantation in a glass (about two minutes)

Appearance
Clear, dark reddish amber in color.
Smell
Luxurious, old and rounded without a strong alcoholic smell. The refreshing citrus with a hint of plum is emphasized on the primary note.
Taste
Very balanced, soft and complex. Initially, the taste of plum, dried figs, coffee with elements of vanilla and dried oak predominates. The aftertaste is pronounced and pleasantly long with slightly accentuated flavors of oranges and Mediterranean herbs.
